7/15/10 – poem, game real game real game

A longtime online friend abruptly sent me an offline message that she was deleting her account and no longer playing on the internet…

So that she can get right with God
she is no longer playing
online, our little games
our smiling fetish chats
or on the phone where
she once even said she loved me
+Game real game real game
and I wonder if she seriously
believes she will talk with me
in heaven
in a few decades
for a few thousand more
or if she thinks I won’t make it
and gives a shrug and gives me and
gives everything up to her God
‘cause it is always

  1. The virtual world v/s the real world..
But then what is real? What is virtual? Sometimes things start getting a little fuzzy…don’t they?

I really liked the repetition you’ve used here.. A thought-provoking poem!!!
Have a bright and beautiful weekend…
