8/17/10 – poem, see today and wave

Feel relieved after a good prognosis from my cardiologist yesterday, and getting back to normal. We are hoping that artery having been blocked was the cause of my lower energy and lack of stamina this past year or so. Feeling a vague sense of the ability to move forward again.

The sense of something
doing, somewhere
brewing, somewhere
the place where my foot will fall
finally planting – there
the time and the place
a thousand and a thousand more
footfalls, miles and lands afar –
there I will pivot
and see today
and wave

  6. You’ve written a lovely poem there, intensely personal as all good poems should be. All the same, learning to manage your effort/energy expenditure is the way to survive.

  7. Inspiring! Nice!
