  1. For some reason this one just made me chuckle outloud….really found this one very pleasant.

  2. funny and sad… poor guy!
I REALLY wonder.. do hamsters prefer it that way? Or is it just us that choose to think so?

Nice haiku, Lawrence… “giant wheel of karma” indeed!

  3. Amusing yet a little sad at the same time.

  4. OMW…Lawrence…poor hamster…I felt sad for him…imagine we have to do that? Good Haiku though xxxxx

  5. i don’t know why but the idea of a cosmic hamster just made me completely crack up. best haiku i’ve seen in a while. 🙂

  6. ha! someone should let him out of his wheel and toss a spool of thread for him…loved this…thank you for making me smile 🙂

  7. this might sound a little random, but bear with me. last night i had a dream about squirrels, which today i turned into a poem and posted, with accompanying photograph. now, neither of these events has anything to do with this post, but when i showed it to a friend he said “so, a dream squirrel, kind of like that ‘cosmic hamster’ poem you were telling me about the other day?” Thus, the picture (not the poem, which is entirely separate) has been officially titled, “dream squirrel, cousin to the cosmic hamster.” I think somehow a link back here is due. hope you don’t mind. cheers.

    • I love it! Wonderful poem, evoking – creating – something totally different than what I (usually) write. I am flattered you want to link the poems. I am not sure how to do it, please go ahead.

  8. Cosmic hamsters must have a tough life. This haiku definitely made me smile!
